Common Thrill

Common Thrill

 Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Common Thrill have just released a CD with Radiohead's producer, Jim Warren ("The Bends", "I Might Be Wrong"). 'Common Thrill' is transcendent, hypnotic rock, as of Radiohead, Coldplay and Muse. They are currently recording with famed producer Anthony J. Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Aerosmith).

Common Thrill creates intense musical moments that carry many emotions; anger, joy, sadness, confusion, etc.
They are influenced by Pink Floyd, Radiohead, the Doves, Snow Patrol, Interpol, Muse, Jeff Buckley and U2. In fact, Common Thrill just worked with Radiohead's producer/live soundman, Jim Warren ("The Bends", "I Might Be Wrong"), finishing a six-song EP in Spring 2005. They are the rare rock band that can put you in a beautiful dream state ('Morhpine Drip') or rock you where you stand ('Whiskey Glow', 'Like It Is'). Singer John Courduvelis sings beautifully and with passion over the blending, whirling guitars of Rich DeCaprio and Brian Fernald, and the sexy grooves of drummer/co-founder (with Courduvelis) Neil Bowman and bassist Mark Kelley. Very few bands can write great songs in many moods and genres that don't sound all the same. They are a common thrill to those who let music speak to them.

"Common Thrill" produced by Jim Warren (Radiohead). The CD was released April 30, 2005.
