The best kept secret in music

"Seven Days"

"With Blips & Bass & Thick, Seamless Groove, the live electronica stew of Concentric has been making a big, old analog splash around the ‘hood. Combining the Live prowess of the New Deal with the cerebral Subtleties of post-rockers Tortoise, the Burlington Band envelops listeners with its organic pulse." - Ethan Covey

"Village Voice"

"This Burlington, Vermont trio follows in the futuristic footsteps of burgeoning livetronica acts as the New Deal, Disco Biscuits, and Sound Tribe Sector Nine, adding danceable bleeps and pulses to a raw-rockbase."

- Rothman

"Burlington Free Press"

"The groove-driven group has been evolving its sound adding samples to its instrumental arsenal in order to layer vocal samples into an increasingly accessible sound... it's a band best enjoyed live, when improvisation can steer the nonstop action into unexpected directions"

- Huntington

Debut EP: "Concentric"

Feeling a bit camera shy

Concentric adds its own chapter to modern dance music with a delicate yet ruthless blend of electronic house and high-octane power. Playing over sixty-five dates on their 2003 summer tour including bills with Ween and The New Deal, the Burlington, VT trio has honed its live show consisting of virtually nonstop sets of synth sweeps and melodies, relentless human drumming, and throbbing bass. With a follow-up to their self-titled debut EP on the way, Concentric continues to help redefine what a band can sound like. Ranging from smooth R&B to progressive rock to house anthems, Concentric's influences take shape to create music that is extremely catchy, constantly danceable, and technically interesting. With silky vocal samples, pulsing bass, and unceasing kick drum. Drummer Tobias Rower, bassist Aram Bedrosian, and keyboardist/ programmer Tim Marcus are aimed at setting their mark in the worlds of House, Electronic, and Progressive music.
