Born from aggression, raised on respect, Conflict emotes a mix of new and old, past and present, blending a new form from experience and vision. Equal parts old school and new, Conflict reflects a character rarely achieved...originality. With members from the former hard rock bands Overload,Tribal Homicide, current band NVAIN, and various other projects, Conflict has the unique ability to draw from multiple sources of inspiration, culminating in their musical melting pot of diversity. In a word…heavy. Don’t come to a Conflict show expecting anything less than a musical barrage. Steven Morton’s driving guitar rhythms and Jeff Johnson’s constant and relentless drums along with Tom Lovell’s booming bass attack give Mark Clark’s soaring lead guitar and Jesse Furr’s raw intense vocals room to expand to universal heights. Though only together for a little over a year, Conflict relishes the freshness of newfound unity. They were round one winners at the East Coast Battle of the Bands and just missed winning round two. Shows at various venues in North and South Carolina have only solidified their stage presence. Setting their souls on fire every performance insures the crowd will remember this quintet of players. Nobody leaves a Conflict show without tasting the essence of the band. All we promise is that we leave everything we have or have had, on the stage. The only thing we walk away with is the satisfaction of doing the best we can for the best audience in the world…..our fans.
