Conjunto Imagen was founded in 1989 by bandleaders Ernie Acevedo and Junior Rivera. Angelo Gonzalez joined as Musical Director in 1990. They have since recorded eleven productions. Three of those were produced under J & N Records label entitled “Tumba, Tres y Bongo”, “Te Invita a Bailar” and “Mi Rumba”. The next five productions were recorded under the Platano Records label entitled “Algo Nuevo”, “Por Amor a Ti”, “Encuentro Especial”, “Imagen 97”, and “Entrando a Milenio” and a Christmas CD, “Xmas with Imagen” (which features Jose Fajardo & Yomo Toro). Their last production, “Contra la Fuerza”, was released by Platano Records and distributed by Universal Records. Conjunto Imagen’s newest production “Ayer, Hoy y Mañana” is being released under their very own record label Muziq, Inc. Records with the vocal talents of Jesus Serrano and Eddie Rosado.
