The production of 'Impressions' combines her charming East Coast accent, the Joan Baez treble in her voice with almost an Eagles/Jackson Browne feel. he strength of her voice and amazing vocals are infectious. You can’t get much better than that. Paul Milner produced and engineered, and excelled at the delivery of this CD.Connie Saulnier is reminiscent of the great singer/songwriters who have paved the way before her; with hints of Joan Armatrading, Joan Baez and Bonnie Raitt, if those singers appeal to you, then ‘Impressions’ is a CD meant for your collection. ”

As you may know by now, a performers' ability to write a decent song is pretty high on my list of "must haves". It takes a certain hand to scribe relatable themes with poetic language, keeping rhyme and rhythm together in perfect phrasing. I think Connie Saulnier fits my staunch criteria quite well, and guess what? She's another incredibly talented East Coast native. The lyrics on this record are poignant and lasting; themes are evident and well structured, ideas are complete. It's refreshing to hear chart ready lyrics with an original touch. ”

“Connie Saulnier writes music from the heart and it is quite apparent of how genuine she is as a performer and artist.…there aren’t too many people who sound like Melissa Etheridge and it is quite unique when blended with smooth jazz (“Stay” and “Love Or Something”). Saulnier’s songs of relationships & self-confidence are definitely needed in this day and age…."”
