Legally blind since birth, 14 year-old musical phenom Conrad Oberg taught himself to play the piano at two years of age, and has performed in public since he was four. Conrad recorded his first album at the age of ten at Sun Studio with Jerry Lee Lewis' band backing him. Conrad taught himself to play the guitar that same year and began incorporating the timeless tones of the Delta blues into his live stage act at festivals and clubs throughout the country.
Last year, Conrad was recognized as the best musician in the country by 12 million Cartoon Network viewers in their Summer series Props.
In addition to performing at hundreds of club shows over the past ten years, he has performed at major festivals including:
Super Bowl 39, Sarasota Blues Festival, Bike Week Daytona, International Juke Joint Festival, Tangerine Festival, Springing the Blues Festival, Life is Good Festival, International Blues Challenge.
In addition to fronting his own band, Conrad has performed several times over the past year with Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and has shared the stage with Buddy Guy, James Cotton, Pinetop Perkins, Bob Margolin, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Guitar Shorty, Oteil Burbridge and many, many more!
