Conscious Family

Conscious Family is very Unique in a sense We try to bring you parts of the Gospel in the Form of Hip-Hop with quoting scriptures while teaching, as well as A blend of R&B contemporary style. Each member brings a different, and unique approach. We have been quoted as doing Alternative music at times....The lyrics are Bible based. One song you may catch some Raggae chanting, Raw Hip Hop, R & B, and currently working on some songs with Live Bands. We have worked with the Likes of Agerman, Living Proof, and currently working on songs with multiple artist/groups/producers. Conscious Family began about 8 months ago with Blessings from groups such as Living Proof. Groups seeks more shows, and will be pushing toward a Distribution deal when the album is complete. We are currently pushing (Music 4 tha Lord) in the Streets. It has 14 tracks of Raw Gospel and The Mix tape spread the word or die trying...Most groups say they are Gospel Groups. We think of ourselves as not a Gospel Group, But a group that brings the Living Gospel. The Concsious Brothers have been working in the community feeding in the Local areas in the Bay, and have been producing monthly pamphlets passing out to get the true word of God out. The pamphlet is scripture taken and scripture based. Influences of the Group include Shirley Cesaer, Mary Mary, Fred Hammond, Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Too much Hip hop to name especially from the Underground. Too much R&B to name, Kmel 106.1,107.7 back in tha days, 94.9, 102.5, KDIA, KPOO back in tha days, 98.9, 98.1, 1190 am, 1100 am, 770 am, 710 am, and so many more great Gospel, Hip-Hop, Raggae, R&B, Motown, Musicians.
