Consider the Raven

Consider the Raven is an indie-alternative band hailing from Denver, Colorado. Connie Hong started the band in the fall of 2008 with high school friend Ali Goossens when they attended a dinner with friends that turned into a jam session with future band members. After a few evident seasons of change, including band members quitting, joining, and switching instruments, Consider the Raven truly began. With the addition of James Thomas on drums and Fletcher Zaragoza on guitar, the band was fully formed, rounding out the sound of soulful harmonies and a whimsical piano. Sounding like a mixture of Eisley and something from the Amelie soundtrack, they bring complex sounds and emotions to the forefront into their own self-proclaimed genre of "indie-waltz rock." Influences ranging from the Beach Boys to Menomena give the band a versatile perspective of music today and where it is headed. Consider the Raven is happy and blessed to have the opportunity to share their passions and talents through the art of music.
