"THE BOSTON GLOBE"

We've long loved Pink Floyd, and spent more than a few nights in headphone heaven listening as ‘Echoes’ and ‘Meddle’ scared the bejesus out of us... Floyd-ian space rock continues to be part of our audio menu. So, we are pleased to welcome the Boston band Constants to our space rock CD carousel. Layers of psychedelic guitars and keyboards, dub, long, twisting instrumental passages, gentle segments giving way to thunderous ones, it's all here. - The Boston Globe

"UNDER THE VOLCANO MAGAZINE"

”Space rock, very much comparable to Jupiter-era CAVE IN-- odd meters,
flowing lyrics layered over meandering guitar lines, Constants disc peaks
and falls in all the right places; it’s inventive and artistic. Loose
without being unstructured, this is a thought-provoking disc that will
stick around my CD player for a while." - Under the Volcano Magazine

"SOUNDCHECK"

Interesting band name and equally intriguing sound. A sort of back and forth of alt. pop with nice, lighter
vocals with dark, heavy guitar and rhythms… perhaps a wave of the future. - Soundcheck Magazine

"PUNK PLANET"

Constants in Breaking turns sullen pop into chunky hard rock, with vocals oscillating surreally. - Punk Planet

"THE NOISE"

A delicate vocal with a whole lot of reverb, pretty guitar arpeggios, and a brutally precise rhythm section doing amazing things in advanced time signatures. Extremely complicated rhythms come and go, giving way to more straightforward sections and then popping back up much later, like themes revisited in a more classical composition. - The Noise

Bio

Drawing inspiration from the thematic psychedelics of early Yes, Constants explores ambient melody, odd-metered syncopations and rise-and-crash dynamics to create a punk version of 70's era art rock.

The group's full length debut "Nostalgia for the Future" was produced by space-prog mastermind Daryl Rabidoux (The Cancer Conspiracy, Drowningman) with assistance from indie guru Matt Squire (The Explosion, Thrice), and Ue Nastasi (Candiria, Killswitch Engage).
