"New Music - Constant Supply"

Letterkenny-based duo armed with strong songs, sparkling arrangements and a drum-machine whose debut EP “Alleviate” was recorded with Villagers/Cathy Davey producer Tommy McLaughlin. - The Irish Times

"Constant Supply - Daft Quotes"

It’s worth giving Constant Supply’s ‘Daft Quotes’ a spin, if only to hear James Gillen dip his voice down to a basement-skimming Eb2, or as I like to call it, very, very, very, very low. Luckily, a muffled hook quickly takes this tune from plodding and miserable to properly catchy. - Hot Press Magazine

Constant Supply are a two piece from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Ireland. They have been playing music together on and off since they were 13. After about 3 years of playing acoustic sets (because they couldn’t find a decent drummer) James decided to purchase a drum machine before Xmas 09. They haven’t looked back since. Their songs are now fully formed for peoples ears.

Excited and itching to play live, they decided to firstly record their debut EP "Alleviate" in March 2010 with Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers) in his lovely Attica studio in Termon, Donegal.

The band were delighted with how it turned out and self-released the EP in June 2010. The EP was then stocked by Tower Records in Dublin and the famous Rough Trade Shops in London.

The EP garnered loads of airplay around the country, regionally and nationally, which culminated in a session for 2fm at the world famous Studio 8 at RTE in December 2010.

"Alleviate" was released by UK Independent label Takeaimfire Records in May 2011.

Constant Supply are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album which is due for release early 2012. A national tour will coincide with the albums release. The albums first single "Daft Quotes" was released as a free download in October 2011 to critical acclaim.
