Biography
Hailing from the small town of Wagoner, OK is a band that is on a mission. Unlike most band's motives for having a band, these young men aren't out for fortune nor fame. They are wanting to TRULY make a difference in this World.
In November of 2006 Consumed by Fire made a trip to Northern Ireland, where the hate between Catholics and Protestants is immense. They worked with other catholic and protestants in bringing the two people groups together on several occasions. A true act of love, compassion, and peace. They will return for a full-blown European tour in 2008.
Consumed by Fire is a band on a mission to restore the broken and give hope to the hopeless. "We want to let everyone know that they don't have to feel that they are going through out this life and it's struggles feeling alone and that nobody cares. . ." says drummer and vocalist Jordan Ward.
They just released their 6 Song EP in July of 2007 and are already planning on starting production this winter on the full-length entitled "The Rise & Fall of A Nation," which will be nationally released in 2008. After hearing many of the NEW songs, this full-length album is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated albums in the Christian Music Scene in 2008. You will definately want to keep your eyes and ears open for their Debut Album, which will leave you in astonishment, I'm sure.
Immediately following the release of their EP, the band headlined "The Sweet Mamma South Tour," which lasted 3 weeks and left audiences in awe all over the southeastern region of the United States. There is actually talk of a "Sweet Mamma South Tour part 2" in 2008.
