Houston is hard city to crack for any artist, musician or performer of any kind. Maybe it’s cause the City is so scattered, so sprawled out, maybe cause venues that would otherwise host these people and events have slowly receded. Whatever the case may be it is hard for anyone to get known. So on that note I stumbled across one of our locals that I wanted to bring a little bit of attention to cause honestly it’s deserved.
Consume These Engines hails from Cyprus just on the outskirts of Houston. C.T.E. formed in the summer of 2008 and has been feeding off of every show opportunity. As of yet there is no album but I am sure there is one in the works soon.
Give them a listen to and see what you think. - indiehouston

"The flame kindled on the Fourth of July, 1776, has spread over too much of the globe to be extinguished by the feeble engines of despotism; on the contrary, they will Consume These Engines and all who work them." - Thomas Jefferson in a letter to John Adams, 1821.
I love music, and creating it makes me happy. so i consume these engines of despotism in my own head.
