Continue the Lie

There is no rest in a lie. LA based rockers Continue the Lie are delivering truth in a sonic assault of edgy rock/alternative/hardcore that is uniquely there own. With lyrical content ranging from love to social injustice, singer Sarah Meech's vocals go from song-driven melodies to snap your neck full on aggression. With influences ranging from Mike Patton to Dolly Parton, well-rounded is an understatement. Guitarist Mike Brunner is undoubtably setting himself up to be the next guitar hero. Celebrating influences of The Dillinger Escape Plan to Ingve Malmstein, this guy is not afraid to shred! Plenty of low-end and plenty of riffing, the skill and power in his playing are rare to find. Often dubbed "King Beat," drummer Mario Santillan completes the unit with his relentless attack of the skins! With constant comparison to Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward, Mario takes pride in his slammin', in-the-pocket beats. Although Continue the Lie is a new band, they have already received radio play with the song "See Through" from Los Angeles radio giant KROQ, which in turn set off a chain reaction of major label interest. A band that seems to have no fear, Continue the Lie is currently rocking the subculture of Los Angeles and recording a new 8 song album set for independent release in early September.
