Bio
Continuous Play is a new band comprised of three musicians who have been playing with each other for nine years.
They are the three remaining members from a long chronology of a Beatles cover band, a Weezer-esque band called Hemophilia, and a jazzy jamband called The Walk.
In their second year as a trio, they are have the three man reggae sound of The Police and Sublime, the diverse songwriting catalogue of The Beatles, the piano pop of Ben Folds Five, and the instrumental exploration of the Grateful Dead or Phish.
Based out of College Park, MD, they have years of experience touring the eastern half of the country. This summer they will be finishing their debut album.
The thing that stands out about Continuous Play is the upbeat sound. Unlike the husky, tortured voice and anguished complaining of most alternative rock, Continuous Play manages to be soulful, silly, and sweetly musical.
