Contraband gained his ear for music through his experience as an A&R cultivating the local Atlanta music scene. Through his A&R background Contraband has developed the unique skill to discover great music and incorporating them into his mixes. He has successfully developed the skill to please the crowd and get them moving. Working with various artists exposed Contraband to a wide variety of music. This is prevalent in his meticulous mixes as he effortlessly transitions in and out of various genres of music. He is able to play an open format but concentrates most of his mixes from EDM, TRAP, and HOUSE.
