Bio

Convertible Blondes connect with their fans with a simple approach. "We write songs about what's going on in our lives. We all have our good and bad days and we write it all down. Our fans relate to what we write because no matter where they live, they have similar experiences in their lives." Take one look at their international touring credentials and you see - they have fans all over the world! " It's an honor to travel to other countries to play our show. When the music starts, we all speak the same language." Gina and Larry are the founders of the band. Gina fronts the band, plays keyboards and keep the energy alive on stage. Larry, lead guitarists and the band's producer, helps keep the group sharp and on-target. Bub fills the group's sound with his bass playing and vocals and drummer T-Bone gives the band a solid foundation. "We love being in a band", says Gina. "We are all big music fans. Our heroes are the bands we grew up listening to. As a singer, I love working with talented musicians who also have great voices." The Blondes maintain a 50 week per year performance schedule, which has allowed them to build an exciting LIVE performance. Their enthusiasm carries them through the many weeks they are on the road away from their families and friends. "We love our fans! They're what keeps us going." The band has just finished recording 14 tracks for their second CD to be released in early summer of 2004. In advance of the CD, a single has been released to record stores featuring up tempo pop/rock single "She Wants To Rock". "She Wants To Rock" went on to sell and chart on the Australian ARIA charts during January and February 2004, climbing to #25 on the charts after a successful 5 week tour of Australia's Gold Coast. The band played dates in Queensland, New South Wales, Coolangatta, Melbourne and Sydney just to name a few. There are plans for another tour of Australia to support the release of the full CD......Convertible Blondes. "Things have really been moving fast for us the last couple of months", says Gina. "Alot of our friends, family and fans have believed in us for so long and now we are all excited to be sharing this with them. WE HAVE THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD!"
