Growing up uptown in the Magnolia Projects in New Orleans Louisiana, David Brady, Jr., knew early in life that he had a special gift of music.  He recalls that when he was only 7 or 8, he would pick up anything that resembled a microphone and practice his singing and dancing in the mirror.  By the time he turned 12, he had decided to hone his musical skills.  He joined the band at S.J. Peters Middle School and learned to play every instrument in the percussionist section. While friends and family wanted David to pursue a career in football, he knew in his heart that it was his music that he loved most.  He started listening to artists like Mystical, Juvenile, UNLV, Old Cash Money, DJ Jubile, Dr. Dre, and Too Short and became inspired by their struggles.   Understanding their struggles on one hand, and watching people enjoy their music on the other hand, made him realize that he was born to be on the stage.  While on the stage, Brady knows that this is where he is supposed to be.

Adopting the stage name of Diezel DaBeast, Brady has taken his music to the  studios.   In his own words, “My music is about reality, my life, my pain, my struggle.  It’s about me and who I am.”     Diezel  has done a mixed tape entitled Death Trap, and is currently working on his first album release entitled “Failure Is Not An Option.”
