Bio

The Lyrically dominate Solang Fube is a Cameroonian – American rapper born and raised on the eastside of Detroit, Michigan. He has surfaced into the underground industry with debut mix tape “Lyrical Relief” which expressively signifies his craving for industry dominance and sheds light on his current inner city circumstances. Lyrical Relief hits home for Cool African when it relates to personal experiences to date. Cool African initially began writing hip hop in 2010 with child hood friends, the “Cool Zone” and since has become determined to reach legendary heights in the industry.

A proud advocate for the city of Detroit, Cool African recalls his earliest encounters with music were that of his Cameroonian father Ferninand’s favorite genre of music Makossa and artist like Moni Bile, Douleur, Bebe Mango, Ben Decca, and Petit Pays. He describes his memories as diverse with music based on his mother’s love for musicians like Michael Franks, Cyndi Lauper, TLC, Cher, and Celine Dion and his fathers cultural tunes. Coming from humble beginnings, music would play a major role in the family’s entertainment.

At age 10, Cool African got a hold of the Jay –Z album “The Blue Print “and instantly became fixated with popular track “Izzo H.O.V.A”. Soon after he set eyes on the documentary “Thugs Angel“ based on the life of rapper Tupac Shakur. This exposed him to the lyrical and poetic style of rapping which he admired. At age 12, Cool African was introduced to New Orleans southern rapper Lil Wayne, who instantly became his favorite. Lil Wayne had the ability to paint vivid pictures of young people living under “hood” conditions and was easy to relate to.

All of these elements have molded the Cool African, he’s a sharp lyricist with a classic flow and delivery. He rhymes with purpose and delivers a message, while incorporating his extensive vocabulary, as well as sharing his ideologies about life; he brings back a primitive essence to hip hop that is mandatory.

Ultimately, Cool African is an artist known for clever metaphors, excellent word play, and thought provoking topics. He possesses an elegant flow and plenty of charisma that almost any and everybody can transmit.

In the germinal stages of his career, Cool African has launched a mix tape, “Lyrical Relief” while at the same time performing throughout the city of Detroit establishing a fan base around the metro-Detroit area. He is currently preparing for his upcoming performance on the EP 2012 U Rock Tour.
