The best kept secret in music

"Sarah Saturday, reviewer / organizer, VANS WARPED Tour"

"Coppermine are on the path to something amazing, because a couple of the songs made me stop, listen, and then hit repeat. Particularly “Don’t Let Go” and “I’ll Be Waiting ... " - SarahSaturday.com

"THE BEST BAND YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF"

"THE BEST BAND YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF .... There are more pansyish, Emo-like rock bands in New York than there are trinket salesmen in the Subway .... thankfully, bands like Coppermine, who like to play their guitars hard and fast, come around to remind our ears that music doesn't have to be dreamily euphonic....." - Dorothy Robinson, Metro magazine

"one of the best kept musical secrets out there...."

"... a scrappy New York band that may be one of the best kept musical secrets out there.... Coppermine is a sonic stealth bomber - a sleek, taut, powerful musical creation that soars just below the horizon....[with] a sound that is as deep as it is graceful." - Brian Dukes, Up and Coming Weekly, Fayetteville, NC

"Mind-rock for the masses...."

"The backbeat slaps you hard and the crackerjack dissonance of the progressions keeps things compelling in a sort of rabid way. Teeming with the ever-elusive pop-sensibility, Coppermine is on a veritable bullet train to mainstream radio. Always the catchy chorus and a fitting rock format, these guys are on top of it.... Mind-rock for the masses." - Maria Schettino, The Deli Magazine

"thematic qualities of Failure combined with the pop-sensibility of Jimmy Eat World."

"One thing in particular that I liked when I listened to "Seven One Eight" was that, unlike most of the stuff on the radio, I couldn't predict how a song was going to progress. You fill your songs with odd, somewhat dissonant progressions, but refine them with soaring harmonies. I am reminded of the melodic and thematic qualities of Failure combined with the pop-sensibility of Jimmy Eat World." - Ryan Hoffer, A&R, ShutEye Records, Atlanta, GA

"Coppermine break the bounds of downright overdone, stereotypical emo"

"Coppermine break the bounds of downright overdone, stereotypical emo with unique song structures and by incorporating jazz, guitar-laden rock, and metal....“Down” and “Reason 9/11” are signs that this band is not making music just for the chicks – like emo kids that realize the whole world doesn’t revolve around them." - Johnny Monday, DiSCORDER, Vancouver, BC, Canada

"a sprawling ballad with anthemic passion"

"The action starts with “Down,” a sprawling ballad with anthemic passion...that decries the over-mechanization of the planet and the destruction of the environment. It sets a solid standard for the rest of the EP ..." - Dan Shvartsman, 30Music.com

"addictive melody actually adds muscle..."

"On "I'll Be Waitin'", Coppermine tosses out a hook to silence the laughter of anyone who might've caught the misstep. Sometimes an addictive melody actually adds muscle...." - Chris Skillern, splendidezine.com

"Currently my favorite upcoming artist on the scene today..."

"Currently my favorite upcoming artist on the scene today...Coppermine showcases a sound that I’ve never quite heard before ....." - ifsix.blogspot.com
