Cops And Robbers!

BandFolkAlternative

"This band is just an extension of my life and my feelings. To take an empty sentence and make it full again by using music to examine human nature. When honestly and openly thinking about it a word isn't just a word but in fact a number of emotions can be derived from just a word."Hector Dominguez

Biography

Formed in the Summer of 2006 with "Melodies that cough and choke as much as they croon, dance tunes for three-legged dancers and nervous chords full of lost and neglected." Cops & Robbers! is composed of Christie, Goldie, Lesley, Heather, Hector and all our beautiful friends. The group was formed to celebrate the beauty and tragedy of life and death. To create emotion in the heads of those who have never really experienced anything. For someone to be able to look around themselves and see the beauty which is everywhere."This band is just an extension of my life and my feelings. To take an empty sentence and make it full again by using music to examine human nature. When honestly and openly thinking about it a word isn't just a word but in fact a number of emotions can be derived from just a word. Since young I've meet people from all over and learned to understand that there are no differences between each other aside from the physical. Most of the songs i write for a reason, in other words i might be thinking about something and just start writing about it. I just want to try to make people grasp how beautiful life is, the sand, ocean, sky, moon, and well just about everything you can see." By Hector (July, 2005)
