Bio

I read a lot of philosophy and write a lot of music. For the last three years it's been a long, unending battle of north and south magnetisms, between both meditating and creating and what has emerged from the struggle is the energy, the impulse to move or to force away from, the space between the two opposing magnet heads. I'm not going to admit this music is completely new, or like nothing else before, because something like that just doesn't exist. The only things that do exist are unique combinations of what has already occurred. I believe that is our music. It's a synthesis of life experiences with philosophical inquiries, confusion, and an urge to be always flowing between discord and harmony, between an atom and the cosmos as a whole.
We are just getting started, but know we are making something great with each song we create, play, perform, record. We are both trying to make something meaningful with each song in a world that seems meaningless. We have recently finished the first part of an album to be finished this coming summer entitled Atelic Dream. The themes that have thus far emerged are addressing just this idea. Atelic, endless or purposeless, Dream is a consideration of an absence of meaning in our lives. The music tries to take this and put it into an experience, a moment that becomes immediately a memory just as all of our life does, that can pull the listener out of and back into him/herself and make him/her ask how different it is from every other moment of that life to which he/she awakens every morning or of that dream in which he/she wander each night. The music is an attempt to push the listener into an interrogation of the self and its interaction with the world without it.
