CopyGoldLeader is a 4 piece improvisational jam rock band from North Jersey/NYC consisting of members of the former funk reggae band The Jersey Royale. CopyGoldLeader combines the grit and raw power or southern rock and blues with contemporary funk and dance music. Songwriter and lead vocalist Jim Olimpieri's songs have a sense of wonderment to them that catch you without thought and compel you to sing along. The bands former roots in reggae and RnB/Hip-Hop are ever present from the funky baselines to the hard driving drums, CopyGoldLeader is just plain old good time, hoot and hollerin' music!
Currently recording their self produced album due out in 2016 and will be playing dates in the Tri State Area throughout the year! CopyGoldLeader is Peter McCourt (guitar/vocals) Jim Olimpieri (guitar/vocals) Powell Mark (bass) Brian "BDP" Dephillis (drums/samples).
