Ideally, when an artist writes a song, they want everyone to hear it. I mean literally everyone. Court Lajoie, who has been writing and recording songs since she was sixteen, is taking that to the next level. She has released her latest album online with a "pay what you feel" method of costing.
Originally, this song wasn't cleared for podcasting, but I emailed Court and asked if I could. She not only responded positively, but added more songs to her NMC page for us to hear! Having grown up in Sarnia, Ontario, she now lives almost an entire universe away on Hornby Island in B.C.

Bio
Cora Lajoie is a songstress and gardener inspired to explore the place where music, nature, and spirit unite. Born and raised by Canadas chemical valley, she has since been on a journey of connecting the dots, connecting with the life force weve forgotten, connecting with community, and connecting with our responsibility to Mother Earth. Her path has taken her across Canada and Europe, and now she's planting her roots in Southern Ontario.
She plays her conscious folk songs to soothe and inspire your heart in parks by day, and intimate cafes by night. Her recent, independently released album called Mindshift is available to download pay-what-you-feel on her website, www.perfumeorgan.com.
