Inspired by musical sensations like Jewel and Sheryl Crow she refers to her music as a mix of folk, blues, jazz with a hint of pop and even a country edge since heading to Nashville. - La Crosse Tribune
Simply sit back and listen in awe of her talent. - Westby Times
Cora Rose, a senior at Westby High School, is well known among many Coulee region natives as an exceptional young talent. Her voice has a freshness and clarity that will make you smile; and her lyrics are deep and insightful at times, light and humorous at others. After her CD release of Ebony in 2002 her career picked up speed as she sang in local venues and at festivals. Before long, she was noticed by a Nashville management company and now travels there once a month to co-write with artists such as Michael Peterson, Jill King, and Roy Rivers. In May, Cora will graduate and then, the Highway will get her. Come here Cora while she’s still ours. - Viroqua Main Street Station
