Transition. This one word sums up all that it means to listen to Corban Eldra. You can't help but to be moved somwehere as their music begins a sonic journey through your ears and into your heart. Formed four years ago in Oklahoma City, Corban Eldra has staked their claim as one of the up and coming bands from Oklahoma.
From loud to quite, driving to meandering, Corban Eldra litters the soundscapes they create with epic swells full of melody and movement. Each guitarist ebbs and flows off of the other creating a beautiful atmosphere of sound. Drawing from a broad range of influences-such as Oklahoma's own Flaming Lips, Built To Spill, Deftones, Granddaddy, Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Coldplay-Corban Eldra create a nice fusion of melodic indie rock. They have shared the stage with such great bands as Thursday, Elephant, Spoken, mewithoutYou, Project 86, and many others.
Prepare to be moved. At the end of this journey you'll feel as though you've been teken somewhere by one of the most creative young bands in music today.
