The Christian rock group, CORE∙5, features lead vocalist Anthony Petty, guitarist Allen Autry, bassist Rodney Brown, rhythm guitarist and vocalist Felix Flemons and drummer Mike Bruyere. Their uniquely blended spectrum of musical talent and faith in God has inspired this band of brothers to embrace the call of the great commission through their music.
CORE∙5 has a passion for expressing their faith and deep convictions for the gospel of Christ Jesus. This is evident with “Come Follow Me”, a song in first person inspired by Matthew 4, when Jesus called his first disciples; “I Can”, a moving melody inspired by Psalm 91 with a message that nothing is impossible when we put our faith in Him who gives us strength. And “Angels Are Falling”, a progressive rock jam reminding us that even though some have fallen, God never leaves us or forsakes us in fact He calls us to get back up and continue on the path to salvation. These songs and others are in their first demo collection, “Come Follow Me”.
The band débuted its original talent in front of a crowd at a HOPE Worldwide fundraising benefit to help feed and clothe the poor in the South American regions. They were then asked to play for larger crowds at regional worship services, teen devotionals, and The Florida Discipleship Conference in Orlando. Their music is growing in popularity among Christian fans in the South Florida region and will undoubtedly inspire believers and non-believers alike to consider the wonders of our Almighty God in this generation.
