  With a unique personality and a striking collection of tracks under his belt. Corei G is a new artist to watch out within the R&B scene. Straight out of Chicago, Corei G makes music that feels eclectic, yet direct and personal, echoing the work of seminal performers the likes of D’Angelo, R Kelly, and Ro James to mention a few.  Corei G mastered the art of combining witty lyricism with unforgettable melodic content that converge into a charming set of sonic aesthetics and gripping tunes. He’s been featured in XXL Magazine as part as the inaugural “Midwest Throne Project hosted by Jamal Smallz”. Notable collaborators include Cyhi The Prynce (Signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label), Cap 1 (songwriter and rapper signed to T.R.U Label founded by 2 Chainz) ,Bay Area rapper Philthy Rich, and Former XXL Freshman Mickey Factz. With a knack of being able to construct contagious hooks for listeners of all walks of life to enjoy, he will be a force to be reckon within the R&B world.     Chicago born and raised, Corei Gordon, aka Corei G. has always been surrounded by music. Everyone in his family was musically talented, including both of his parents. For as long as he could remember, music has been a family affair. However, Corei didn’t take music all too seriously until 2006, when the music group “One Chance” founded by two of his cousins caught a break and were discovered by Usher Raymond during a live music showcase. After “One Chance inked a major record deal, Corei took a new outlook on music and began to gain notoriety as Corei G.

He started honing his craft day and night, determined to make his mark in the music industry. Developing his unique singing and writing ability, Corei also began developing his production abilities. His songwriting and production abilities developed to the point where his cousins One Chance started coming to him from time to time for assistance a variety of tracks. Corei’s writing was also heard by T-Pain during the time “One Chance was signed to his label “Nappy Boy”

In 2014 he released his lead single “Turn up” featuring G.O.O.D music artist Cyhi The Prynce. The single was supposed to be off his debut mixtape titled “September’s First”. “Turn Up” garnered radio play in Chicago and Atlanta among many other cities. However with the birth of his first child, in order to be with his family Corei decided to give his music career a break.

Now older and wiser, Corei G. is hitting the restart button, making a humble, whole hearted return to the music industry with his first single “T & P” from his debut EP entitled “Downtime”!
