"WP RECORDS"

WPRecords would like to congratulate CORE on winning the “Gig of a
Lifetime” at Bourbon Street. The lead singer definitely showcased his raw
emotions and talent with each song. CORE also showed great energy and
crowd control by demonstrating the band’s phenomenal stage presence. CORE
reminds me of Disturbed with a great combination of aggression and
darkness. It is easy to see why CORE won the competition with each band
member providing the right amount of substance and emotion that exploded
with each song.

To increase sales of your CD, may I recommend posting your songs on
musicane.com. The website allows bands to post songs for fans to download
with a large portion of the proceeds going back to the band. I believe
you can post up to 6 songs for free then additional songs cost more.
Also, they keep track of your downloads and report them to nielson
soundscan. Another company that has a similar approach to help bands sell
downloads and report sales to ASCAP/Nielson soundcan is
BurnsideLounge.com. If you are interested in gaining more exposure and
more reviews, I would also recommend a company called Music Submit.com.
They charge a small monthly fee to send out your music to a bunch of
places like internet radio stations, on-line magazines, online music
directories, blogs, podcasts and other electronic music media. The first
25 submissions are free and you can cancel anytime. Also, a magazine
called Lucid Forge is looking for artists to review and music to post on
their website – lucidforge.com. Hopefully the marketing tips that I
mentioned can help gain more exposure for CORE. WPRecords wishes you the
very best in all of your future musical endeavors and we will definitely
keep you in mind for any future events that we hold in Orlando.
Congratulations!!

Best Regards,

"Budweiser signs Core again!"

Budweiser signs Core for a second year - ..

"Tally Rocks the Moon II"

With heavy vocals and a sound similar to Metallica or Disturbed, this band really got the crowd going. The lead singer had an amazing stage performance, and the band almost seemed out of place playing at such a small venue/show. With their energy and professional nature, the band seemed like it would better belong on a larger venue, with a bigger crowd. - Tallahassee Indy Media

"X101.5 Hall of Fame"

On 10/15/03 Core's "Drowning" made it's debut on X101.5 Hard Drive at Five.

On 10/15/03 Core's "Drowning" was put into regular rotation on X101.5.

On 10/29/03 It's official, Core's "Drowning" is the first recording by an "unsigned" band to be added to the X101.5 Hard Drive at Five Hall of Fame. Due to being voted #1 for two weeks straight.

In Spring 2005 Core's " Turn It Up" was added to the Hard Drive @5 on the X101.5 fm. - X101.5 Clear Channel Radio

"Budweiser names Core, True Music Live Band"

In March 2003 Core became an ambassador for the Budweiser True Music Live Program.

Core was picked over dozens of local bands in order to get this sponsorship with Budweiser. Core is now under full sponsorship as a True Music Live band for Budweiser.

Look for great things to come from this band.

"From the desk of Kristen Black"

In early 2003 Tallahassee was selected as a "Budweiser True Music Live" market. Budweiser's True Music platform is designed to reach contemporary adults in every aspect of their lives through sponsorship of talented, cutting edge bands playing throughout area venues.

In February 2003 CORE was selected over dozens of other bands to represent Budweiser True Music in and around the Tallahassee area. In the past year CORE has:

>Played over 50 live shows representing Budweiser.
>Recorded a national :30 radio spot.
>been included on a Budweiser True Music compilaion cd.
>been selected to perform live at a private function for NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr.

In the past year,Jason,Jake, Bobby, and Worm and manager Dulcie have impressed me with their flexibility in doing what we ask of them, coordination and responsiveness to request and most importantly their talent. They have an incredible stage presence, understand what it takes to engage the audience and most importantly have a strong repetoire of original riveting music that sounds incredible! Their music and presence have pulled in a strong fan base across the Tallahassee area and throughout Florida. In other words, THEY ROCK!

CORE is on regular rotation on one of Tallahassee's top radio stations and is the first unsigned band to be added to the station's Hard Drive at Five Hall of Fame.

Please accept this letter as my highest endorsement for CORE.

Most Sincerely,
Kristen Black

Bio

Four best friends hailing from the small town of Quincy Florida with only one mission in life; to share with the rest of the world the story of CORE!

It's hard to believe there almost was no Core. The near ending came just as swiftly as the beginning. Their first few months as a band would prove to be the roughest Core has had to face to date. Their ability to stay focused was tested not only once, but twice in 1998. In July 1998 just as Core was getting ready to set of on their venture, Adam Benedict best friend to all band members, and original bass player for Core, decided to end his own life (Jake Loehner would later step in as an attempt to save the band, and to keep the memory of Adam alive). Just as the band began to heal from the loss of Adam, a fire claimed all of the bands equipment. Nothing was salvageable, and Core was forced once again to start from scratch. Which they did, and they haven't stopped since.

Core's Music can be summed up as a montage of lost love, lust, pain, anger, and fantasy. The music of Core is guitar driven with just the right amount of bass and drums to exhaust any crowd. The energetic showmanship, accompanied by the sultry in your face lyrical style always leaves the crowds wanting more!

In May 2001, Core released their independent album poetically entitled "Find Yourself" much to the delight of their ever growing fan base. You can hear "Change" on several radio stations across Florida and Georgia. In December 2002 Core wrapped up recording of their 3 song demo with Rock the World Studio in which Eric Durrance Wind-Up Records recording artist (Big Dismal) produced, and recorded the demo. "Drowning" which is featured on the demo, is being spun on radio stations across Florida and Georgia. "Drowning" is also being spun on regular rotation on X101.5, and it was also the first ever song recorded by and "unsigned" band to be added to the Hall of Fame via The Hard Drive at Five on X101.5.

Over the past several years Core has gained a lot of attention and respect from their local music community. By staying true to their form, and their beliefs, Core is now looked at as one of the top rated bands on the local circuit, which has given them the opportunity to open for a number of National acts such as: Sevendust, Presence, Jackyl, Hoobastank, Trapt, Earshot, Adema, Die Trying, and The Impotent Sea Snakes, Beautiful Creatures, 8-stop-7, Josh Todd, and Bone Thugs -N- Harmony to name a few. Core has also taken part in the Ernie Ball Tour, and the Inverse Music Tour. Core has also played several festival, and local showcases. Core will also be showcasing at Club Ovation for 3 major labels in late Feb. 2004.

In March 2003 Core became a True Music Live band. Being sponsored by Budweiser as a True Music Live band has given Core the opportunity to showcase their music on a much higher level. They've played a private show for race car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., and top executives of Budweiser.

Core has faced many dark and relentless storms in the past. Due to their ability to take the good from the bad, Core has prevailed and they're proving themselves to be unstoppable. Like their song "Change" sings "They're going straight to the top, and they'll never look back.

All shows and songs are dedicated to the memory of Adam S. Benedict; our fallen brother and guardian angel.
