Corey Tynan

I'm 18 years old, a senior in high school, and I'm from Port Huron, Michigan. I have just released my first single from my upcoming EP. This single was recently chosen to be the class song of my graduating class at Port Huron Northern High School. I will be releasing my first EP titled "On My Own" in late June. This EP is very easy for all types of people to listen to and the songs can easily relate to almost anyone. Some of my influences are Lifehouse, Jack Johnson, and Jimmy Eat World. I first got my start in music by playing drums and jamming with my brother and friends. I always wanted to get out of the basement and play shows but we never had any material. When I was a sophmore in high school (age 16) I decided that if I wanted to make it anywhere as a musician I would have to make things happen myself. After playing in a pretty successful band for a little over a year I left to start my own solo career. I am currently recording my EP at Wall of Sound Studio in Memphis, Michigan and I have been lined up to play for 4 and a half hours over 3 days during Port Huron's Boat Week!
