Raised on the North side of Chicago but born in Brooklyn, New York. Relocated to Atlanta in search for a dream. Coriz is a innovative singer/songwriter colliding the sound of neo-soul, R&B and Hip Hop in a collaborative form. She brings to you a classy sex appeal that is sure to capture any audience and tantilize you with her textured unique voice. Her uniqueness combines the art of rap, singing and songwriting in a way that can not be compared to any artist in the music industry. Her melodic writing style and catchy hooks will grasp you at the first start of the drum roll. Once compared to writing styles of Babyface Edmonds of 2012. She follows the Beatles way of investing into your craft at least 8 hours a day, right now Coriz is up to 5 hours a day. Coriz has a rolodex of songs that will bring out the future of music. Her voice has been compared to Fantasia, Macy Gray and Lil Mo. Her influences are Baby face, Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans, Nas, and Jay-z.
At the age of 5, Coriz began her journey in writing music. She has composed for some of the biggest names in the music industry and has ghost written up until the age of 22. Some of her catalogue includes Lupe Fiasco and KATO of Ruff Ryders. She started completing her own projects at the age of 19

She has interviewed with Soulfulnights.com Marcus Moore and Charious McLaurin at the Marsha Ambrosios concert House of Blues, THe Jay Davis Show in Chicago, Jay Davis. Power 92's Sean Dale, which is a major broadcasting in Chicago. She has an upcoming spread in Level Up Magazine for the August 2011 and 2012 edition. She has also appeared in Generation Gap Records/Universal Owner Ronald Abrams.
