Bio
I can describe for you the very moment that I wanted to be a musician. I was watching TV late one night & I came across a re-run of Austin City Limits. On the stage there was this band with a skinny white guy playing a beat up guitar wearing the most rediculous outfit I have ever seen. then he started to play his guitar. I sat in awe of this man & from that moment on I was hooked. That mans name was Stevie Ray Vaughan & his band Double Trouble.
These days most local bands are cover bands making a living playing other peoples music. Which is fine, but for me I wanted to see if I could write my own songs. All I had to do was sit down & think about my own life & use that as a starting point. I also use experiences that friends have had as well for my songs or things that, at the time, I could not find the words to say. It would seem to me that if you had a story to tell with a message that it would be well received in these troubling times. So much of what is out there now is crap anyway. Hopefully the singer songwriter is making a comeback.
