"The weekly concert begins with a concert by award-winning country group Corybel Country from 8-9:30 p.m. today at the Fort Smith River Park amphitheatre, north of the Garrison Avenue bridge. "We have a top-notch country band with Corybel Country," Oberste said. "They're from Missouri and they compete in - and win - all kinds of competitions. Corybel Country is the fresh, pure country sound originating from the heart of the Ozarks in rural southwest Missouri. This talented, spunky, country kickin' group adds a fun, new flair to country music with their unique sound and songwriting ability. Over the past year Corybel Country has performed in numerous venues and cities including Kansas City, Chicago, and Nashville where they recorded several songs at the Sound Stage Studios with Nashville's finest musicians. They have opened for artists such as Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, Jaron and The Long Road to Love, Drew Davis, and Ricochet among others. The group is also scheduled to perform in multiple festivals this summer which include artists such as Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols, Steve Holy, Gloriana, and many more! This band has got a great live and original performance with their own unique country sound which incorporates a rockabilly edge that has charted them on the Top 10 of the nation's unsigned artists. This band knows how to rock the stage and is sure to be a great time for everyone!

Corybel, lead vocalist, is a very charismatic 19 year old, down home, country girl with talents lying in her vocal ability, song writing and flat top guitar playing.

Sharing the stage with Corybel is 23 year old, John Carr from Cape Fair, Missouri. He adds a country sound of harmony and vocals along with a strong quality lead and flat top picking that has impressed some of the finest musicians.

Corybel’s mother, Sandy Cope, brings to the stage years of experience, performing with some of Nashville’s finest. She adds to the family harmonies and assortment of acoustic instrumentation.

Corybel’s sister, 20 year old Morgan Cope from Crane, Missouri, shines with her ability to work the stage with the group on the bass guitar.

Finally, keeping the beat and adding the rock to the rockabilly edge of Corybel Country is Shane Jennings of Hurley, Missouri on the drums.

Energetic performances, good times, and great fun with their fans and friends is what Corybel Country is all about.
