Not so long ago, He was just a dreamer. Through music, through deepest, most thoughtful self-expressions, he engages his befriended listener. Painstakingly writing, playing, writing, singing… But, no—Cory’s not in it for the music. Music that you hear one day and forget the next. Beats and lyrics that massage ignorance—he doesn’t write any of those. No, the only that gives him breath in the daylight is his desire for you to feel something.

There’s no dollar sign at the end of his rainbow: He writes and he plays to call out that hidden, tucked away, personal (maybe even dark) side of you, his listeners. He sings for those who haven’t got the heart. For the lonely, to help find depth in relationships and to identify beauty within a song, a verse, a line. To feel loved, and understand that maybe we’re not all alone in this battle —that is Cory’s motivation.

He’s still a dreamer. He is ambition. But he’s not just dreaming anymore. He is a talent and always one step away from something greater. But, no: he is a friend, a brother, a gentleman—first. He’s a machine. No: he’s human. But he knows better. He knows humans are beautiful, and strong in their choices, and he has simply made the choice to be better, and to believe better things.
