Cory Welch's authenticity and strength thread back to age thirteen when he crafted his first song, and once completed, his voice was his guitar and songwriting his second language. Every verse and chorus today still speaks from this honest outlet of his emotional self, and though each song from start to finish now bears a lifetime's weight, Cory helps his audience escape worry and brooding through pop sentiment. When plugged in, he and his band navigate a swaying, blues-induced alt/rock genre and dip into pure, young Americana, styles he maintains in his organic, solo acoustic setting.
