Cosmic Anthem

Greg Doss (guitar/lead vocals):
I have played guitar since I was 12 years old. Until I turned 29, I wrote over 30 secular songs. All my music (except one song I wrote for my beautiful wife) was sad, angry, depressing, and rebellious. Basically, the music I played was like most of the rock and roll/heavy metal out there. I was seeking fame and glory, so I got involved with several different bands during that time. All of which, thank God, failed miserably.

During this dark time I was under the influence of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. I became hopeless and more depressed because my dream of success in music had not come to pass. I was about to receive a wake up call.

One evening I was listening to the radio in my truck and heard a message from God that I felt was intended for my ears. Usually my radio dial was set to a local Rock station, but this particular evening it had been miraculously set to a local Christian station (unknown to me, earlier in the day by my wife). After a great song finished playing, a message that talked about things like LOVE, HOPE, PURPOSE and DISCIPLESHIP through Jesus Christ came on. The message hit me right between the eyes. There had been something missing in me and now I had found it. From that moment on, I knew my life was going to change for the better. New light entered in and many dramatic changes happened quickly.

The alcohol, drugs, and tobacco went by the wayside, and soon after, I began to write Christian music. By distribution of CD's locally, concerts, and working with the youth at my church, I hope I can inspire others to come to Christ.
My wife Miranda and I have three daughters: Skyler, Makayla, and Kylee. They are my greatest treasure. I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist working in a local hospital Blood Bank. Playing, writing, and recording original Christ inspired music is by far my favorite pastime.

Chad Erickson (bass):
Chad married Mary, and they have a son Cason. Chad is a psychiatrist in residency.

Michael Bergan (drums):
Michael is a psychiatry resident in the same residency program as Chad and is John's older, wiser, brother. While Michael has taught John everything he knows about music, John has surpassed Michael in talent and technical skills. Michael can, however, still lay down a killer beat, as well as attempt to add some occasional harmony to Greg's lead vocals. Michael may also be considered by some to be the most fun member of the band, so where he lacks in musical talent, he makes up in vibrant spirit! What more do you expect from a drummer?
Faith Journey:
Michael dedicated his life to the Lord at an altar call in second grade, and again at a Methodist Bible Camp the summer after fifth grade. He was confirmed in a Lutheran church in 8th grade, and was baptized in a Baptist church his freshman year of college. Currently attends Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, "Mercy" in Sioux Falls, where he plays drums on occasion.

John Bergan (keyboard):
John works as an administrator for a vision plan company (eyecare benefits). He asked Jesus into his heart on September 19, 1999, and majored in biology at St. Olaf College (2004-2008). He plays the recorder with his nose and can lick his elbow.
