Cosmosis

BandPopFunk

Cosmosis is determined to bring you a live show worthy of calling unforgettable! Bringing horns, male and female vocals to the forefront of our style, with some extended "jams" in between, we strive to give the audience something fresh and new while keeping that 'familiar' feel to our music.

Biography

Cosmosis was formed during the spring of 2006. Since its inception, the band has focused on keeping a catalogue of crowd-pleasing cover songs while writing and performing their own style of funky and inspired original material to give the audience a live show to be remembered.

Taking the influences of Funk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Latin, then twisting it all around, Cosmosis has created a sound and vibe all their own. The ability to be able to switch gears between so many different styles at any given moment, Cosmosis provides a unique experience at every show.

With several members of the band being multi-instrumentalists, Cosmosis gives the listener quite an array of sounds. Every member of the band is integral: Debi Gleva -vocals/percussion, Adam Hart -bass/vocals, Alberto Lopez -guitar/vocals, Nate Sohar -alto saxophone/guitar/vocals/percussion, Garrett Butler trumpet/percussion, and Jeff Sanders -drums/percussion, Cosmosis creates a euphoric atmosphere with funky grooves and challenging harmonies.

Based out of Northern Indiana, Cosmosis has been playing regularly across most of Indiana and Lower Michigan, while sharing bills with bands such as Ekoostik Hooka, Lotus, Groovatron, Bill Smith, and more. As of now, Cosmosis is ready to bring their live show to new stages, including yours, all while making each night different and more fun than the last!
