Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Like many musicians, the three members of Cosmos Mariner had spent much of their careers searching for a band that worked. That search led them to pursue degrees in Audio Engineering in Florida. Coming from Virginia, Illinois and Kansas...they had all studied music in college before venturing to Orlando. The band formed during their fourth month in school after discovering a mutual love for organic funk and hip hop. After a couple of jam sessions the fella's decided to throw a party at the pool of a local apartment complex. That party soon became an every week occorunce with dozens of new people every time. Finally deciding to take it seriously, the guys went into the studio to record their firs record: "The Battle For Earth EP". Once the recording was finished the shows started pouring in and the fan base started building. On one particular friday night the band invited the "pool scene" crowd to the Full Sail Theatre for a live performance CD & DVD recording ("End Of Space: Live In Orlando").
In October of 2005 (w/ engineering degrees in hand) the guys took a 3 month break before relocating to Charlottesville, VA. With plans to releas a new full length album in August '06 and fall tour shortly after, these guys are just getting started.
