Objective:
To participate in various musical settings as a artist/producer/engineer and to perform and record my own original material.

Southeaster Louisiana Universty, Communication and Computer Programming, August 1999 - May 2002.
P.A.C.(Performing Arts Club)Music director for all stage plays also performed and started in three of the plays.
Managed $500/semester budget.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Had two hit songs in the louisiana.(Soulja Party (2005) and Come Here (2001))

Biography:
Corey "CO" Davis is CEO of Costudios, Austin, Tx based indie studio/label. In this position, he manages and directs the record label. Co is the writer of the hit single "Come Here" in Hammond, La in the early 2000's, the song that really started the career of the group (Blackhearts), also head lined most of the concerts in and around the Louisiana, Mississippi areas and Texas.
Co has been apart of three different record labels, Dynamite Records, W.H.A.T Records and Top Notch Entertainment. He had to over come the same as ever other established artist in the industry that's making and name for himself and the record label in communities. He is one of the very few artist to make it on his own with only hard work, no friends or family that is some how already in the business. Co has been featured on 10 other indie artist albums from 2001-2010 that also help him to became an established artist. Co is currently pursuing a degree in business management and has already received 3 years of Communications and Computer Programming training and Southeastern Louisiana University of Hammond, La. In 2008, he decided to do his music on his on and start his own record label.
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Corey is the husband of Cindy Ott-Davis and the proud father of one daughter,Cori Davis, whom the record label is named after. Corey Davis, born in New Orleans, La. on January 26, 1981. Started writing songs in the summer of 1993. Started with my first record label in 1999 ( Top Notch Entertainment) in Hammond, La. In this time I leaned to record songs, stage presents, and how to work as and team in the business. I had my own background dancers, background singers, producer, manager and agent. We had to hit songs in the Louisiana but we did not go much further because the dancers and the manager were picked up by a world wide label because of the talent display. In 2002 he was picked up by another independent record label. W.H.A.T. Records but only did 1 concert with the label his label mates parted ways. So from that point on CO has been doing everything independent. Putting together concerts and paying recording time also
paying for features. With no record labels really focusing on his music CO decided to take a different approach he began to do stages plays and movies (background and feature roles) landing a gig as a the music director. Now with 2 small feature roles and 3 stage plays one stage play with staring and was the music instructor and creator, CO was ready to get back to his music. 28 years of age CO moved out to AUSTIN, TX to start a new project. Starting Costudios in 2010 is looking to help new inspiring artists become great artist. And is now still doing concerts along with fellow artist on label.
