We get frequent radio play at WFHB 91.3/98.1 in Bloomington, IN. We are recording our second release this winter with Dave Webber at Airtime Studios.

Straight out of the cornfields in Bloomington, IN, Cottonstar is a four-piece band that has been playing together for four years. The band recorded a three-song demo in 2001, which sold several hundred copies throughout central Indiana. Performing with such acts as TubRing, Sump Pumps, Johnny Socko, and the Violent Femmes, Cottonstar has sold out many venues in central Indiana, as well as headlined the Rock 'N Ride Music Festival in Louisville, KY. Cottonstar produces rock music with heavy jazz, blues, funk, and metal influences full of time signature and rhythm changes. Musical influences include Mr. Bungle, Incubus, The Beatles, Miles Davis. (as well as many more, of course.)
