CountdownToAtrophy

Countdown began writing songs when drummer, Ben Lodahl, and Guitarist/Vocalist, Joel Tock, began their hard work. They were friends with the current members who now put forth tremendous effort to make their music worth the listen, and energetic, but at the same time, spreading God's message to their fans. They began playing shows in December of 2009 and have quickly gained a following of teenage listeners.
The name, "Countdown To Atrophy," means the countdown to total depression, and meaninglessness. The band believes that today's youth are getting dangerously close to that, and they won't let their generation live this "Countdown" without a desperate fight.
What sets Countdown To Atrophy apart from other bands is the way that they ingeniously mix contrasting genres together along with abstract, unheard-of melodies. The mixture of genres runs somewhere along the lines of Hardcore/Pop, but a label like that isn't enough for the original sound that this band produces along with the energetic, and emotionally draining shows they perform.
