With distinctive vocals and cutting edge song writing Counterfit Fifty demands to be noticed as one of Canada’s lead up and coming Bands . All hailing from the Quinte West area the bands been writing and performing music together since 2004. Counterfit Fifty is ready to add its name to the amazing roster of Canadian artists that have taken the world by storm. Counterfit Fifty consists of four members; Brandon Scott - Lead Vocals .. Rhythm Guitar Brent Alvey - Back Vocals .. Lead Guitar Drew Ditmars - Back Vocals .. Bass Guitar, Mike Arnold- The Kit.. The Band has accomplished many things in it’s short career. In 2004 the band was voted best band in the Quinte and surrounding area. Counterit Fifty was shortly after that showcased on 97.1 (The Mix), on the 8 o’clock showdown. The band won every night for an unprecedented 10 days, setting a mix 97 record for most votes in a single night with over 2000. Counterfit Fifty has had the privilege of opening for such acts as; Nazareth, Helix, Stabilo, Mobile, Thornley, & The Tea Party, Econoline Crush, Ill Scarlett & more. Also to there credit, they have played at over 300 venues, selling well over 1000 copies of there self titled EP. The group has a built a large fan base that stretches from Winnipeg to Ottawa. 2006 has been a real year of learning for the band says lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Brandon Scott, "although we know this is the tip of the ice berg were always eager to learn and showcase our explosive style". Recently recording at Metal Works studio has given the band a fresh outlook on the talent out there, not to hinder them but only to motivate them and to fuel the fire for them to become the best band ever to come out of Canada.
