Courtney Agee

Courtney Janae Agee is a multi-talented R&B artist born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, located in the South Suburbs of Chicago. Although she is only 18-years-old, Courtney's music is composed of lovely harmonies and hook driven lyrics that combine contemporary R&B, pop, hip-hop, and urban soul. Feloney Davis of the R&B group Public Announcement said Courtney’s music is so beautiful that it gives him "goose bumps." Courtney recently recorded with Fred (Blaze) Crawford (Day 26), he was blown away by Courtney’s writing and vocal ability.

Courtney has appeared on BET 106 & Park's "Wild Out Wednesday" ;her song titled "Maybe" was selected for the 2008 IBE summer celebration CD sponsored by McDonalds and the Indiana Black Expo; She was selected as runner up for Chi-Town Idol and she performed at the Chicago Music Awards in January 2009. Courtney has performed in theater, video, and on stage, and was one of the original members of the teen group, "Ladies Making History." Before line up changes, the group recorded a self-titled CD in which Courtney co-wrote and co-arranged several of the songs. She is a professional who is dedicated to developing and growing as an artist and who appreciates the energetic support of her family, friends, and fans. Some of her influences are Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Aaliyah, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Feloney Davis, Jamie Foxx and Brandon Hines. She also admires Beyonce Knowles for her talent and drive.
