Every now and then you find someone that just has it; that special thing that you can't describe, Courtney Ateyeh is that girl.

The New York City born, Austin, TX raised singer-songwriter has a catchy pop style with a twist of soul and a charm that is both unique and irresistible. A triple threat, Courtney plays guitar and piano and sings and writes all of her own music. Combining her passion and gift of words with her natural ability to relate and connect, the 24 year old will have you feeling every song.

Currently in her last semester at the renown Berklee College of Music, Courtney is going out with a bang. Her song "Getcha Getcha", a fun and catchy electronic pop piece was just named winner of the Berklee 2011 Songwriting Competition. Following on the heels of this honor, her new release, "You Will Be Heard", an inspiring and moving song based on the recent political events in Egypt, was recognized as a winner of the 'Berklee Songs for Social Change Contest'.

Berklee education in tow, Courtney not only has the talent and drive but the knowledge and education to succeed. With graduation nearing in May 2011, Courtney is more excited and ready than ever to start making waves in the music industry. With an infectious smile and witty personality that will have you coming back for more, this newcomer is truly a force to be reckoned with.
