Courtney Lacy

Courtney Lacy is a highly accomplished singer, songwriter, and performer who has graced audiences with her music across the country. This rising star is from Jacksonville, Florida and has always had a dream of becoming a recording industry megastar, gracing the world with her voice.

Some of her musical inspirations are the likes of Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Brandy and Monica which is evident when you listen to her soulful, powerhouse of a voice that combines hip hop and R&B influences to create a unique sound. She has co-written songs with popular entertainment industry pioneers like Billie Lawrence, worked with producer CC Lemonhead, and released a remix of her single Grown and Sexy, which features hip hop legend, Keith Murray. 

Courtney's accomplishments include winning the Duval Diamond award for Best Female R&B artist in 2008 and was recently nominated, in 2015, for both R&B Artist of the Year and Duval Female Artist of the Year. She has won the hearts of DJs around the world via DigiWaxx, under the former name Courtney Harris. She has also performed at hairshows, celebrity after parties, back to school events, colleges, fashion shows, night clubs, weddings, and music industry mixers.

Today, Courtney is the founder of her own indie label Lacemob Entertainment. She has crowned her fanbase and supporters with popular name "Lacemob" in which they excitedly shout out when she walks in any room, hence the hashtags "LaceMob" and "IAmLaceMob". She continues to be in high demand locally and throughout the Southeast Region, impressing audiences with her voice, her stage presence and poise. Her singles continue to receive airplay on both regional and Internet radio. She is most known for one of her current "Shemixes", (as she likes to title them) Hotline Bling, which is currently in rotation on 93.3, Duvals No1 hit music station. Her original single, "Some More", is one of her most recent hits, produced by M.Geezy Da Phenomendon and Pistol Beats. She is currently working on a mixtape, filled with both remixes and originals,  which will show much of her personal "trap-soul" style, raw edge, and diversity.
