Covered

Covered is a new contemporary / urban gospel group of Atlanta GA. Their sound is a mixture of all different genres that brings a new sound to gospel music. Covered began January 2015 with founder/songwriter Terri Grant and Demetre Simmons partnering to develop the vision for Covered.  In September 2015 they recorded their first demo “Move” and “Do You Trust Me”.  October of 2015, they debut their first performance at a local Musician Appreciation Event in Fairburn, GA.  2016 was an exciting year as Bernard Dorsey and Sydney Shorter became official members and the face of the group.  Covered was showcased in their 1st on stage performance August 2016 “Praise in the Park” in Fairburn, GA and from this event they have been featured in their first radio interview after the show. The group re-recorded “Move” September of 2016 and finished the project October 2016. In 2019 thru 2020, Covered partnered with the Atlanta Comedy Theater and where the main attraction for Clean Comedy Sunday “Soulful Sunday”. Covered continues to do God’s work and are still making music to share with the world for every age and gender.

Covered has been  featured on the WTTN Kingdom Radio, book signing events and promotional interviews with local supporters.   Covered currently are listed in the various streaming services (Spotify & Apple), which are played all over the United States and internationally in Germany.  They also have broadened their music reach and will be performing in the following States in 2021.  Tennessee, Alabama, Florida and Michigan.
