BandRockClassic Rock

We're a Heartland Rock and Roll band from New Orleans that just started its career. We're honest, hardworking guys playing music try to capture something

Biography

Cozy came together when Jack pulled Chaz, Dominic, and Alex together to play. After establishing a solid sound base, it became apparent that something was not quite right. Jack reached out to Emmanuel to step in on the keys and immediately the sound fell into place. From this conception there was a mutual feeling of duty to the music that developed a strong work ethic and drive to push forward. With a catalog of songs at their disposal, the only thing left was to fine tune the sound and come together as a band.

After months of rehearsing, the band was ready to take the next step and record an EP. "Draw the Line," was recorded at Dockside Studios in Maurice Louisiana with producer John Snyder. The five songs provided a strong starting block for the band to begin their push.

Beautiful Masquerade

Written By: Jack Gallagher

Beautiful masquerade in the moonlight
Raise your head up and gaze at the starlight
They’re aching to call you their own
Nobody is watching, come on come out in the light

Beautiful shot in the dark it’s a nightmare
Stand up for once in your life catch your fair share
Nobody can tell you your wrong
Your spinning in circles learning to swim on your own

C
Now you try telling yourself you’re the lesser one
You try selling yourself for a better one
Then look back at what you’ve done
Tell me how far you’ve come
That’s if you’re still around

Beautiful hummingbird oh how time flies
Spread your wings little bird reach for the skies
Nobody can see where you’ve gone
You’re lost in the masses you’re losing that spark in your eye

C
Now you try telling yourself you’re the lesser one
You try selling yourself for a better one
Then look back at what you’ve done
Tell me how far you’ve come
That’s if you’re still around

Fall

Written By: Jack Gallagher

Draw the line I try to tell myself
Don’t give your hand away
But oh when she moves I lose my grounding
But damn I just can’t take it all right now
I was holding on to a melody
I could never get quite right
The kind we all hold on to
But never makes it through the night

C
I find myself again
Climbing something steep
Holding on dear life
And trying to believe
Cause some say loves a lie
And I believe that’s true
But if you fall for me
I will fall for you

So if half our lives we’re waiting
Why do I drive myself insane (treat myself this way)
Sure you’re the one that I’ve been searchin’
But I never could have seen this one comin round
You’d hardly crossed my mind
Not a month before there was someone that I’d left behind
No you were not what I was searching for
But you really left me no other path to take

Portrait

Written By: Emmanuel Cattanzariti

Now everybody knows it
Everyone it seems but you
Tried my very best
Sacrificed the rest
But these painted lies bleed through

Been stuck on this canvas for a while now
Just trying to get those colors right
I tried a different brush
But I still lack the touch
To take you home tonight

C
I can’t say there’s something about it
I wont take nothing without it
I hope that I’ll see this through
Finish this portrait for two

Each day when I wake up in the morning
Brush my teeth comb back my hair
My first thoughts they are of you
And darlin’ tell the truth that aint right
It just aint fair no no no

C
I can’t say there’s something about it
I wont take nothing without it
I hope that I’ll see this through
Lets make this portrait for two

I'll keep the house nice and empty
Still ghosts reside within each room
But little do I fear since I know that you are near
Just me and you
Let's make this a portrait for two

Sleep Well Tonight

Written By: Jack Gallagher

Don’t let it go to your head
But you’re different from the others
And this is nothing that I haven’t done before
Maybe I move to fast
Maybe I’m a little easy
But I just want someone to adore

C
I’ve been searching for a soul like you
I’ve been walking empty streets lit by moonlight
I don’t care if they’re talking I don’t give a damn
All I know is I’ll sleep well tonight

VII
Let down your guard
We’re in this for the long haul
Theres no telling where we’ll be
Maybe I jumped the gun
Maybe I’m a little crazy
But you are the only one I see

C
I’ve been searching for a soul like you
I’ve been walking empty streets lit by moonlight
I don’t care if they’re talking I don’t give a damn
All I know is I’ll sleep well tonight

B
If I’d known if I had seen
That one could love but could not be
That all my joy would turn on me

C
I’ve been searching for a soul like you
I’ve been walking empty streets lit by moonlight
I don’t care if they’re talking I don’t give a damn
All I know is I’ll sleep well tonight

Hold Your Line

Written By: Jack Gallagher

I’ve been trying
Something new
But they’ll never
Be anything like you
There’s a silence
We both can’t break
Yeah we both know
We’d only make mistakes

C
Oh It’s hard
Living without you
But what’s harder love
Is knowing that I should
If we hold our lines
Someday I’ll find my way to you

These cracked sidewalks
All seems to know
And just like me
They’ve watched you come and go
So lets split hairs
Let’s spin lies
Let’s cover up
What’s hiding in those eyes

C
Oh It’s hard
Living without you
But what’s harder love
Is knowing that I should
If we hold our lines
Someday I’ll find my way to you
