The Soul Soldiers
Undeniably, Positively, Undoubtedly God’s Men. Crushers of Devils and Builders of Hope. Hailing from Lusby Maryland population of 2,000, The Soul Soldiers are quickly making dents in the devil’s walls. The Soul Soldiers Aaron Weems “AKA” Lieutenant and Thomas Weems “AKA” T3 are “The Preacher’s Sons” of ten brothers and sisters. Knowing God and His Word was and still is priority in their lives. The Soul Soldiers are also members of The Chosen Sons of Lusby Maryland who have also made great impacts for God in gospel music. They are also members of God’s Choice with their anointed sisters. So whether it’s Rap, Contemporary or Traditional they both are well experienced and skilled in their work. Not only are “The Soul Soldiers” gifted as rappers but also as singers and musi-cians, stemming from down home gospel, worship to jazz.
The mission of The Soul Soldiers is to reach out to the community of unbelievers and believers “the future church” who may not grasp the sounds of gospel as many others may take hold to and to share the gospel through spoken word in a different flavor. The Soul Soldiers understand what The Apostle Paul means when he says in 1 Corinthians 9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. The desire of The Soul Soldiers is to be used by God to reach all people whether saved or unsaved, traditional to radical. They believe in Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
The Soul Soldiers have performed on several types of youth events throughout Maryland and are looking forward to taking the message of God to all of the nation in their own God given way. Their current project Release “The Movement“ Featuring “9.1.1.” “Crying” “Thanks To You” What Am I” is a spirit driven project with powerful testimonial lyrics and fresh hot beats. This project is geared to those who truly love hip hop and love God even more. It is a project sure to get your heads boppin’, your hands clappin’ and minds thinking. The Soul Soldiers truly pray that God anoints this project to touch the hearts of millions and draw them to Himself as they continue to lift the name of the Lord higher and higher.
Currently The Soul Soldiers are working as independent with the backing of their ministry, fam-ily, friends and most of all God Himself. The Soldiers dad “Elder Desi Weems Sr.” Pastor of The Lusby Church of God where the Soldiers are soul members and members of the praise team, always preach a simple message to all of the gifted saints of God, the message is, “Jesus Is The Biggest Name There Is”. Knowing this encourages The Soldiers to know that they can Go Anywhere and Do All Things through Christ Jesus who is their strength and door opener.
