Biography

Clifton Johnson (C Plus) was born and raised in Oklahoma. Humble beginnings led to great individual achievements for Clifton. He began singing at age 2, and into his teenage years, facinated by the sounds of Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Sam Cooke, Clifton discovered his own love of music and he began showcasing his vocal ability, grabbing the industry's attention and giving him the opportunity to open up for Joe, Usher, Tony Terry, and Mint Condition. After several years of service for his country in the U.S. Military, Clifton returned home to pursue his first love - music. After one album with the group "IV Shaydz" C+ decided that singing and playing live would be more fulfilling so he grabbed fellow bandmember and drummer Zach "Woody" Andrew and formed the Duo: "Born in November". Hitting the streets relentlessly, booking and promoting all of his shows for the past 2 years has been pivotal in the phenomenal success of the band, both locally and regionally as they gained even more fans and exposure with each live show, television appearances, internet, newspaper, and magazine articles and interviews. In July of 2009, Born in November signed an exclusive management and booking contract with DFW based agency ART Music. Our goal for 2010 is to expand 'Born in November" touring venues into the Southwest, Midwest and Rocky Mountain states!
Clifton always knew he was born to sing, and coupled with his drive and determination, Clifton's willingness to learn and evolve musically have given this multi-talented musician the creativity and power to achieve even greater success!
