Bio

“It was something me and the homies came up with. Ya know, crack kills the negative…the bulls**t. Plus, I’m one of the Greatest out Detroit".

Marcus Filban, better known as CrackKillz Da G.O.D, is making his mark in hip-hop and showing the doubters that he is here to stay. In the last 3 years Crack has worked hard to release 8 EP's (Good Rhymes, Good Times; I.C.E and 3 volumes of The Beautification Project) including 3 collaborative releases II Kings, Mi World & Living Legends.
He began hosting his own local showcase dubbed "The Crack House" in 2012 at Detroit's independent art gallery, The Untitled Bottega, located in the city's downtown area. At "The Crack House", Crack and other local artists come together and spit positive energy. It is a hip-hop lover's dream.

After building a fan base off his "Fuck A Poser" movement, bringing in up to 200 people every Thursday night, discovering artists and exposing a new breed of talent from throughout the city and suburbs alike becaming more than a hobby.

At the top of 2013 the self proclaimed Greatest Out Detroit released his full length debut "G.O.D BLESS YOU". With his laid back braggadocious flow, he began to inspire listeners to chase after their dreams and to "stop dreaming and start scheming". CrackKillz Da G.O.D.'s music is based on spreading peace, love & positivity in each song. With that being said, the rapper's music also contains a perfect amount of controversial but political lyrics such as songs like “XPac” and "Pay It Forward".

CrackKillz Da G.O.D has had the opportunity to open up for artists such as Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids, Pac Div, and T.D.E. artist Ab-Soul at the historic St. Andrews Hall. He has embarked on the Respect The Fresh College Tour around Michigan and was granted a performance slot at the 1st annual Oakaloosa Festival in Detroit. Rapper CrackKillz Da G.O.D. is currently preparing to release his next project titled "Audio Painter", lead by "Eye Just Wanna (BWMN)" produced by Dag. Crack continues to prove that his mark on hip-hop will be permanent.
