"Though Crackpot Theory have not yet been a Powerslave band of the month, nor did they perform at a re-launch event in the past, Crackpot Theory at Powerslave's Re-Launch Anniversary Show were a perfect example of Powerslave's new foray into experimenting with new ideas and new genres. The band and their songs were not "progressive" so to speak, but their set progressed through all sounds, like a psychedelic-punk-rockabilly-heavy movement. Though they started off with a slower number full of echo, reverb, and feedback, their heavy undertone was soon intense enough to inspire some air guitar and a really large pit . Their songs got faster and harder, until it looked like the mostly metal fans had forgotten their initial reservations and were actually enjoying themselves. Bassist Tony said, "Personally, I would like to say that all of the bands were awesome. We had a great night."
Their next show is a free all ages performance on April 11 at Slim's in San Francisco. "

Discography
Their self-produced first album, "Let's Fight" was released in early 2004. It is available online from iTunes, CD Baby or through their website. New EP coming soon featuring "Medicine" and "Sci-Fi Matinee". Release set for June 2006.
